Overview

We’re excited to share our vibrant Spring/Summer season programme at the iconic Cambridge Corn Exchange, running from April through to September 2026. Packed with unforgettable performances, big-name talent and unique nights out, the months ahead promise something for everyone in the heart of Cambridge.

Taking centre stage this season is a spectacular selection of theatre. Audiences can step into a world of pure imagination with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, experience the cult classic energy of The Rocky Horror Show, or feel the chills of the critically acclaimed 2:22 A Ghost Story, plus many more productions to discover. For lovers of classical performance, Ellen Kent Opera - Carmen brings passion, drama and unforgettable music. Whether you’re after a musical or edge-of-your-seat drama, this season delivers must-see moments.

Comedy lovers are in for a treat. Highlights include the ever-popular Anglia Comedy All Stars and legendary names such as Harry Enfield, Paul Smith and Georgie Carroll. Expect big laughs, sharp wit and unforgettable nights with some of the UK’s finest comedic talent.

Families can look forward to a host of exciting shows. From the out-of-this-world adventure of Science Museum: SPACE EXPLORERS to hilarious Tom Gates Epic Show. We’re also delighted to welcome Michael Rosen for Stories and Rhymes, a joyful event perfect for families to enjoy together.

Looking for something a little different? Join the party at RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season Seven Tour, or lace up your skates for a Roller Disco and experience the venue in a whole new way. In fact, did you know the Corn Exchange has hosted skating before? As part of its rich 150-year history, the hall once welcomed Edwardian-era “rinking” (as roller skating was known).

As we continue celebrating our 150th anniversary, there’s still time to explore our special exhibition,  A Stage in Time, charting the venue’s journey from a corn trading hub in 1876 to the beloved venue it is today. Open until Saturday 4 April, 10am–2pm (Tuesday to Saturday), it’s a unique opportunity to step back in time and discover the stories behind this historic building.
